Chisinau, April 27 /MOLDPRES/- The specialized structures will collaborate with similar forces from other states to ensure the security of the officials who will be present on June 1 at the European Political Community Summit. President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu made the statement today.
The president said that state employees will collaborate with counterparts from European countries to ensure the security of the 50 heads of state and government who will be present in Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district. "It is an extremely important subject and we have assumed the obligation to ensure security standards at the highest level, because it is about the presence of the leaders of these countries and we work together with the security institutions of other states, obviously, according to the procedure and according to the protocol adopted at the international level. Security measures will be adopted gradually, depending on the situation. At the same time we are trying to do everything to reduce certain effects of these security measures for citizens and those who live and work nearby. We approach this subject with all seriousness, including learning from the experience of other countries, how to organize events of such scope. It is the first time that the Republic of Moldova organizes such an event", said the head of state.
The European Political Community Summit will take place on June 1, at the Castel Mimi winery in Bulboaca, Anenii Noi district.
