Moldovan parliament adopted new rules for implementation of CSJ Law

Chisinau, April 27 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament voted today in the second reading a draft law that refers to certain transitional rules for the implementation of the Law on the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).

The legislative amendments have an effect both on the constitution of the trial panels and on the change of their members until the Supreme Court of Justice begins its work, in the new composition. The document also sees the adjustment of the deadlines for approving the nominal composition of the evaluation committee of CSJ judges and candidates for this position.

Recently, Parliament adopted two laws aiming at the reform of the Supreme Court of Justice and the external evaluation of CSJ judges and candidates for this position.
