Moldovan parliament updates legislation on optional pensions

Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today updated the legislation on the optional pensions. In particular, the lawmakers included new norms which regard the funds of optional pensions and their managers.    

The document establishes the requirements as to the organization, licencing and work carried out by the managers of optional pensions, the norms enforced to their keepers, as well as the competences of supervision of these entities, assigned to the National Commission of Financial Market.  

So far, the notion of ‘’non-state pensions’’ has been used in the national legislation and it was replaced by the ‘’optional pensions’’ notion.
