Moldovan president meets Ambassador of Korea to Moldova

Chisinau, April 28 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met on Thursday with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to our country, residing in Kyiv, Kim Hyung-tae.

According to the presidential press service, the head of state said that we want closer bilateral cooperation and trade relations and appreciated the lasting partnership between our countries.

"As this year we proposed the return to economic growth, we are interested in attracting investment from South Korea to our country, especially in the Free Economic Zones, in the renewable energy sector, in the development of IT parks, the health sector and in the modernization of agriculture", Maia Sandu said.

At the same time, the president emphasized the importance of continuing the dialogue regarding the liberalization of the visa regime for our citizens who wish to go to the Republic of Korea.
