Moldovan health ministry to receiver another 36 generators on behalf of EU

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/ - European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič today informed about the donation of a consignment of electric energy generators for the Health Ministry.

According to the EU commissioner, 36 generators are provided from strategic reserve, rescEU, through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

Attending the event, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco thanked for the support provided ever since the beginning of the unleashing of the war in Ukraine, which made possible the supply of medical institutions from all over Moldova with 80 electricity generators worth 3.8 million euros.

Thirty republican, district and municipal medical institutions will be beneficiaries of the consignment of generators worth 2.8 million euros.

This is the fourth consignment of electricity generators received by the Health Ministry in a single year through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
