Chisinau, May 19 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Education and Research will annually announce a competition for the financing of renovation, reconstruction or rehabilitation projects of sanitary blocks in the country's educational institutions - high schools. The regulation stipulating the conditions for organizing and conducting the contest was published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.

Competition applications will be submitted by educational institutions or, as the case may be, by local public authorities.

According to the authorities, during the current year renovation, reconstruction or rehabilitation of sanitary facilities in educational institutions will be carried out from the state budget for a total amount of 25 million lei (1.25 million euros).

Potential beneficiaries will fill out a form in which they will include data on the number of children in the institution, the needs to renovate the water and sewage systems or sanitary facilities, the existence of spaces for new sanitary facilities and other related information. The funding decision will be approved by a committee made up of representatives of several state institutions.
