CNA: procedure for unsealing, examining envelopes with electoral lists from Gagauzia held today

Chisinau, May 19 /MOLDPRES/- The National Anticorruption Center announced today that it has started the procedure of unsealing and examining the envelopes with the electoral lists in the presence of three members of the Gagauzia Electoral Commission and the lawyer of this commission.

According to CNA, an interpreter was placed at the disposal of the members of the Electoral Commission from Comrat to ensure the translation into Russian.

Actions carried out by the anti-corruption officers, under the leadership of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, "do not affect, at the present time, in any way the judicial process of validating the elections".

The electoral lists were lifted at the beginning of the week in the case of corruption of voters and illegal financing of a political formation.
