European Moldova National Assembly - European Parliament President to attend event

Chisinau, May 19 /MOLDPRES/- President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola will participate in the European Moldova National Assembly, due on 21 May in Chisinau. The authorities announced today the program of the event.

The event will start at 11.00, with the singing of the Anthem of the Republic of Moldova, performed by the opera singer Valentina Naforniță, and the singing of the European Union Anthem, by the Moldova Youth Orchestra and the Moldova Choir.

The action will continue with the appeal of President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, and the message of European Parliament President Roberta Metsola. Later, the European Moldova resolution will be adopted.

The event will be held in the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau and simultaneously in 33 other European cities.

In early April, Maia Sandu launched the initiative to convene the European Moldova National Assembly on May 21 in the center of the capital.
