Chisinau, 20 May / MOLDPRES/- "Nicolae Testemițanu" State University of Medicine and Pharmacy organized Open Doors Day today. Information about educational offer (integrated bachelor's, master's programs), admission and accommodation conditions, tuition fees for the academic year 2023-2024 was presented to the youth.

Attending the event were high school and colleges graduates, as well as students of IX-XI grades. They also had a meeting with the administration of USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu".

The rector of the university, the vice-rectors, the deans of the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry, the vice-deans and the representatives of the Admissions Committee answered the questions on the enrollment process.

Rector of USMF "Nicolae Testemiţanu" Emil Ceban welcomed the young people and thanked them for deciding to visit the educational institution today.

"USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" has a special history, which we are proud of. On 20 October 2023, we will mark 78th anniversary of foundation. During this period, over 46 thousand doctors and pharmacists were trained for the national and international health system. Currently, our graduates are working in all corners of the world. The university trains doctors in four languages for the Republic of Moldova and 35 countries of the world. The responsibility is very high, as to cope, it is necessary to have developed, modern, attractive, accredited and competent educational programs. Thank you for deciding to visit our university today. Management team will answer all your questions. I assure you that you will be proud to have chosen USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" and you will be trained by the best teachers and specialists in the health sector. I wish you success, best possible results in the BAC exams and we look forward to seeing you at our university", Emil Ceban said.

The event had an extensive program of activities: interactive workshops, visits and excursions to the most attractive university destinations: the Human Anatomy Museum, the University Dental Center, the University Center of Simulation in Medical Training, the University Medical Rehabilitation Centre, "Vasile Procopișin" University Pharmaceutical Center, the Health Sciences Library, the Academic Evaluation Center, the Alley of Brilliant Scientists and Doctors, the Student Campus: the student dormitories, the University Sports Complex, the Driving School, the University Sociocultural Complex and the Student Self-Government Centre.

During the event, the young people were guided by the representatives of the Association of Medical Students and Residents - students and resident physicians, who shared their personal experiences during their professional training in the Medicine and Pharmacy.

USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" was founded on 20 October 1945. Over the years of activity, the university has trained over 46 thousand doctors and pharmacists, of which about seven thousand are working in medical institutions abroad. The university was decorated with the Labor Glory Order in 2005 and the Order of the Republic in 2015.
