Over 96,000 dialysis services funded by state last year

Chisinau, June 13. /MOLDPRES/- Over 96 thousand dialysis services were covered from the mandatory health insurance funds in 2022.

According to the National Health Insurance Company, about 90 thousand hemodialysis sessions were provided in outpatient settings, in the amount of over 181 million lei.

In order to provide the population with specialized dialysis assistance in 2022, the National Health Insurance Company concluded contracts with nine dialysis service providers from the entire territory of the country, namely: Bălţi hospital, Cahul district hospital, Comrat district hospital, Mother and Child Institute, Sfânta Treime Municipal Clinical Hospital, Timofei Moșneaga Republican Clinical Hospital, Institute of Urgent Medicine and BB-Dialysis, Imunotehnomed company.
