Diplomas issued in Moldova to be accessible online

Chisinau, June 19. /MOLDPRES/- Diplomas issued by the universities of the Republic of Moldova will also be available in digital format. Thus, any person who holds a bachelor's or master's degree, issued after 2009, can access and download it on www.mcabinet.gov.md (Education section).

Minister of Education and Research Anatolie Topală said that the digitization of education and processes related to the educational system is one of the priorities of the ministry he leads. "The digitization of diplomas is only one of the elements related to digitization in the field of education. Through the 2030 Education Development Strategy, we have established this field as a priority. The digital diploma can be used, for example, to be sent to an educational institution in another locality or country. Even if we don't have the original diploma, we can access the digital diploma through mcabinet, which has legal value regulated by law and can be presented to the entity that requests it", he said.

The facility became possible thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Research and the Electronic Government Agency.

Digitization of diplomas allows graduates to have quick access and control over their documents, ensures security and portability of documents. It also gives institutions and employers the possibility to verify them quickly and securely, without waiting for the paper diplomas to be issued.
