Employers can benefit from subsidies to carry out professional training probations for jobless people in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - Employers can benefit from subsidies, in order to carry out professional training probations for unemployed people. The measure is taken by the National Employment Agency (ANOFM).
The beneficiaries of professional training probations are the employers who informed the territorial subdivision in the area of which they have the legal address or in the area of which there is the address of the place of work, about the willingness to participate in the measure of professional probation for jobless people.
To participate in the professional probation measure, employers must meet the following conditions: be registered according to the legislation; should not have suspended activity; should not in process of insolvency or liquidation; should not have debts to employees and the national public budget for the previous year; should ensure the conditions for the probation of the jobless person-probationer; should have qualified staff, in order to fulfill the duty of mentor during the probation.
At the same time, the employer is to give assurances that the activities carried out by the unemployed people-probationers contribute to the implementation of the theoretical knowledge and are relevant for the profession/trade/occupation they have. Also, the economic agent should ensure the observance of the requirements of labour security and health, as well as the observance of the applicable provisions of the labour legislation.
The employer involved in the measure benefits from a monthly subsidy of 30 per cent of the average monthly salary on the economy for the last year during the entire probation, for each jobless person-probationer. Also, during the probation, the person receives a non-taxable monthly scholarship worth 3,685 lei, provided proportionally with the frequency.
At the same time, the central/local public administration authorities involved in the measure of professional probation do not benefit from subsidy.
