Romania condemns statement of so-called Russia's representative in Kherson

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - Romania firmly condemns the statements by the so-called ‘’representative’’ of Russia in the Ukrainian region of Kherson. Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu made statements to this effect today.

„Such statements against Moldova, which regard also a part of Romania’s territory, a NATO Ally, are unacceptable,’’ Marcel Ciolacu said.

The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) today condemned the recent statements by a Russia’s representative in Kherson – a Ukrainian territory under Russian occupation, in which he directly threatened Moldova. Besides, Russia’s Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov will be summoned at MAEIE to be asked for explanations on this case.
