Moldovan deputy premier visits Marcăuți village

Chisinau, August 10 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian together with representatives of the Reintegration Policy Office paid a working visit to Marcăuți village, Dubăsari district on 9 August. He had meetings with the local public administration, teachers, medical staff, local councilors, economic agents and residents of the village, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.
Having a dialogue with mayor and representatives of local public institutions, they approached the difficulties faced by the population and the public administration in the village. They pointed out the need to rehabilitate the Family Doctors' Office, to equip the House of Culture with the necessary equipment, to replace doors and thermal insulation of the Domniţa kindergarten.
They also considered such issues as using the tourism potential of the community, developing the local infrastructure, supporting business initiatives in the countryside.
Serebrian and the Reintegration Policy Office representatives also visited the cultural home in the locality, which benefited from financial support within the program of the country's reintegration activities.
The official encouraged the local authorities to continue applying to community development projects, financed through the assistance programs offered by international donors, as well as to the competition of projects to be selected and approved through the country's reintegration activities program for 2024.
