Moldovan electoral body accredits another about 180 observers mor monitoring elections

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has accredited national and international observers for the monitoring of the republican constitutional referendum and the elections for the office of Moldova’s president, due on 20 October 2024.

Thus, 143 people were accredited as national observers on behalf of the Promo-LEX Public Association and five people on behalf the ADOR ORAȘUL MEU (I ADORE MY CITY) Public Association.

As for international observers, two persons were accredited on behalf of the Central Electoral Commission from Azerbaijan and 26 people were accredited as international observers on behalf of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR)

CEC has earlier accredited another 497 national and 46 international observers.
