Moldovagaz's gas from Energocom to be cheaper in October

Chisinau, Oct. 1 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovagaz announced today that in October 2024 the purchase price of natural gas from Energocom will be 394.64 euros per thousand cubic meters, which is about 24 euros lower than in September, when the price was 419.26 euros.

"According to the contractual terms of sale - purchase of natural gas between Energocom company and Moldovagaz, in October 2024 the purchase price will be 37.09 euros/MWh, equivalent to 394.64 euros/1000 m3, or MDL 7,700.45/1000 m3 (excluding VAT), based on the forecast higher calorific value of 10.64 kWh per cubic meter, and the exchange rate," Moldovagaz announced today.

For September, the purchase price of natural gas from Energocom was 419.25 euros per thousand cubic meters.

Since May this year, tenders for the purchase of natural gas are conducted on the BRM East Energy platform.
