Moldovan electoral body: Voters can apply for voting certificate

Chisinau, Oct 2 /MOLDPRES/- People who on the day of the republican constitutional referendum and presidential elections on October 20 will not be in the locality where they have a valid domicile or residence can apply for a voting certificate at the polling station's electoral office. This will allow voters to vote in any other polling station in the country on the additional electoral list.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, the certificate for the right to vote is issued by the electoral office of the polling station where the voter is assigned according to the domicile or residence valid until October 19, 2024, inclusively.

The certificate for the right to vote is issued on presentation of the identity document proving the voter's domicile or residence within the polling station.

Elections for the President of the Republic of Moldova will be held on 20 October 2024. On the same day, a republican constitutional referendum will also be held in which citizens will answer the question "Do you agree with the amendment of the Constitution for Moldova's accession to the European Union?".
