Moldovan president in discussions with inhabitants of Micauti village

Chisinau, Oct 17 /MOLDPRES/- Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) candidate Maia Sandu discussed with residents of Micauti village, Straseni, about the infrastructure projects carried out in the locality. Maia Sandu urged citizens to vote on 20 October. "It is important to go out to vote, to defend our democracy and to continue development and investments in infrastructure!", Maia Sandu said.
She spoke about investments in infrastructure projects, medicine, schools and kindergartens.
"People are proud of their picturesque village and they want Moldova, with all its localities, to be within the big European family. Important investments have already been made in Straseni - in Micauti the park in front of the house of culture was laid out and the sanitary blocks in the gymnasium were rehabilitated, in the localities of the district a total of 53 projects worth over 340 million lei have been implemented, 38 km of aqueduct were built, 10 kindergartens and schools were modernized. Lozova emergency health care center has been renovated and the district hospital has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment," said Maia Sandu.
She urged citizens to participate in the elections on October 20. "It is important to go out to vote, to defend our democracy and to continue development and investment in infrastructure! We will not let dirty money decide our fate. I believe in the wisdom of Moldovans," said Maia Sandu.
Maia Sandu is running for the second term as President of the Republic of Moldova, having been put forward and supported by PAS. Eleven electoral candidates have registered for the presidential elections. They are currently presenting their campaign programs.
The presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum will be held on 20 October.
