Our Party's candidate says vote of each citizen matters for Moldova's future

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate of Our Party for the office of Moldova’s President, Renato Usatii, has offered thanks to the voters for the participation in the presidential elections held today. Usatii stressed that the vote of each citizen mattered for the future of Moldova. Usatii noted that, no matter the result achieved, he would continue to fight for Moldova.     

„I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all citizens of Moldova who went to vote today. More citizens of Moldova showed interest and devotion for Moldova. This fact is quite welcomed on my behalf, absolutely for everybody who went to vote today. The vote of each citizen matters – not for one contender or another, but for the future of Moldova. I want to thank the team of Our Party for all the work carried out on this period. And those who still work now. I say you quite clearly that, no matter the result I will have in this ballot, the fight for Moldova continues for me and for my team. Moldova needs professionals who have capacity to lead the country in the interest of the citizens,’’ Renato Usatii said.     

At the presidential elections held on 20 October, the voter turnout exceeded 51 per cent, according to data by the Central Electoral Commission. Eleven candidates registered in the race for the Moldovan president’s office.
