Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/ - Ukrainian citizens with the right to vote who are on Moldova’s territory will be able to vote at two polling stations during the parliamentary elections due on 26 October, organised by the neighbouring state.

At a today news conference, Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Sergey Pirozhkov said that polling stations will be opened at the Chisinau-based Embassy of Ukraine in Moldova and Balti-based Consulate of Ukraine. Ukrainian citizens who are in northern Moldova will vote in Balti and voters from other districts of the country will vote in Chisinau. Polling stations will be open between 08:00 and 20:00 local time.

"I think it will be a good result, if more than one thousand Ukrainian citizens will participate in the elections in Moldova", said Sergey Pirozhkov.

To participate in the elections, the citizens of Ukraine must be included in the voter lists and hold the international Ukrainian passport.
