Moldovan independent candidate starts electoral campaign for parliamentary polls

Chisinau, 31 October /MOLDPRES/ - An independent candidate for the 30 November parliamentary polls, Oleg Cernei,started his electoral campaign today.

"I will always be consistent and responsible for my words and deeds. I do not betray and do not treat with arrogance. I have always been close to the needs of the Chisinau residents, now I want to be close to those who believe that not everybody and not everything is for sale in politics," Cernei says in a letter to voters.

Oleg Cernei said that, if elected MP, "the fight against poverty, corruption, organised crime, as well as the care for young people, elderly and the jobless" would be among the priorities of his mandate.

Cernei was registered by the Central Electoral Commission as electoral contender on 29 October and will be with the number 20 on the ballot paper.
