Moldovan entrepreneurs to take over European business practices

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - A group of 13 business people from northern Moldova will take over European business practices during intensive training courses, on 31 October - 15 December this year. Subsequently, in the spring of 2015, entrepreneurs will benefit from a week-long internship in Austria, to share experiences and initiate new collaboration contacts.
The press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) said that the training would take place at the CCI branch in Balti and would be conducted within the programme to enhance the skills of entrepreneurs in Moldova and develop collaboration relations with business partners from Austria.
Balti-based CCI branch director Galina Codita said that the first phase of the project comprised three modular training sessions on financial management, control, risk management, strategy, planning, organisation. The courses are delivered by experts from the Institute for Economic Promotion (WIFI) from Austria. At the second stage, after a training workshop in Balti, an internship in Vienna, Austria will follow, within which local entrepreneurs will visit companies, participate in a Moldovan-Austrian business forum and have bilateral business meetings.
"Boosting the skills of entrepreneurs is very important nowadays, and the Moldovan CCI takes into account the needs of economic agents. The project offers business people the opportunity to organise the management processes more efficiently and to give their business a global character", said Galina Codita.
Trainer Christian Husak, an expert from the Institute for Economic Development, welcomed the Moldovan business people's interest for Austria and stressed that WIFI would help identify Austrian companies willing to collaborate with enterprises in Moldova.
Entrepreneurs from Balti, Glodeni, Sîngerei, Riscani, Falesti and Drochia will participate in the 2015 spring stage.
The training is organised by the Balti-based CCI branch and Continued Education Centre in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and the Institute for Economic Promotion (WIFI).
