Moldovan electoral body decides on voting of residents from left bank of Dniester

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/- Moldovans residing on the left bank of the Dniester, in Bender municipality and some settlements of Causeni district, which are temporarily beyond the sovereign control of Moldova's constitutional authorities, will be able to vote at more polling stations at the 30 November parliamentary elections. The Central Electoral Commission took a decision to this effect.
Thus, under the decision, five polling stations will be opened in Chisinau, nine - in Dubasari district, three in Causeni district, two in Anenii Noi and one in Balti, Cahul, Criuleni, Floresti, Rezina and Stefan Voda each.
The voters from the concerned settlements will be written on an additional list of one of the above-mentioned polling stations, upon presenting the identity card proving the residence in respective settlement.
The Interior Ministry will take all needed measures to maintain public order in the settlements where the afore-mentioned polling stations are placed.
