Moldovan cabinet approves ratification of accord with EU on developing small, medium-sized enterprises

Chisinau, 7 November /MOLDPRES/ - The government approved a draft on the ratification of an agreement on the Moldova's participation in the European Union's programme, Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, signed in Brussels on 29 September 2014, the government's communications and media relations department has reported. 

The programme is aimed at creating a friendly environment for starting and developing small enterprises, backing access to new markets, promoting entrepreneurship, etc.  An inter-ministerial supervising council, due to be set up by the Economics Ministry, will monitor the implementation of these provisions.   

Moldova's participation in the European Union's programmes in the concerned sector will facilitate the enforcement of the Association Agreement, taking over of good practices and establishing working contacts between Moldovan and EU experts. 

The cabinet's decision is to be submitted to the Moldovan president  for consideration.
