More Moldovan contenders present reports on money spent in first month of electoral campaign

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - More electoral contenders have presented to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) the financial reports, containing the sums of money spent in the first month of electoral campaign.
According to the reports placed on the CEC's webpage, the Democratic Party spent most money – 20 million lei. It is followed by the Liberal Democratic Party, which spent about 17.5 million lei. The list is continued by the following formations: the Party of Socialists with 4.8 million lei, Liberal Reformist Party – 3.4 million and Patria Party - 2 million lei. The Liberal Party and Party of Communists reported expenses of 1.2 million lei each, and the Popular Party – 500,000 lei.
So far, Alegerea Moldovei - Uniunea Vamala (Moldova's Choice - Customs Union) Electoral Bloc and Antimafie Popular Movement have spent about 110,000 lei each. Among the formations which spent the least are the Forta Poporului Formation – about 33,000 lei, Renastere Political Party - 24,000 lei, Christian Democratic People's Party – 8,000 lei and National Liberal Party - 6,000 lei. The Reformist Communist Party reported expenses of only 50 lei, whereas the Democratia Acasa (Democracy at Home) Party did not present the financial report.
Three weeks are left till the parliamentary polls due on 30 November.
