Moldovan central electoral commission established number of ballot papers to be printed

Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Election Commission (CEC) today decided that approximately 3.11 million ballot papers will be printed for the parliamentary elections on 30 November.
CEC President Iurie Ciocan said that over 708,000 ballots would be in Russian, and the remaining 2.4 million in Romanian. The number of ballot papers prepared for the elections on 30 November will be higher than for the elections in 2010, when more than 2.8 million ballot papers were available. The maximum number of ballot papers distributed to one electoral office is three thousand. The cost of one ballot paper is about 0.42 lei.
CEC also decided to allow citizens who have the right vote who own expired ID cards to vote in the parliamentary elections on 30 November.
According to the Registru Centre for State Information Resources, about 155,000 citizens have expired ID cards, and more than 240,000 citizens own expired passports.
