More Moldovan settlements face power shortages due to rains

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - Twelve settlements from four districts were partly cut from power due to the last night rains and wind.
The press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service, Diana Turcanu has said that most settlements cut from power were from the Ialoveni, Leova, Cahul and Taraclia districts.
„At present, the intervention teams work on the field, in order to reconnect the villages to the electric energy. No other damages caused by the rains were reported,” Turcanu said.
The State Hydro-meteorological Services has informed that the rains would continue to fall till Saturday.
