New British military attache introduced in Moldova

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/- British Ambassador to Chisinau Philip David Batson today introduced new military attache in Moldova, with the residence in Kiev, commander Karen McTear to the leadership of the Defence Ministry.
During the meetings with Deputy Defence Minister Aurel Fondos and Chief of Staff, commander of the National Army, brigadier general Igor Gorgan, the sides discussed issues related to the bilateral cooperation between the armies of the two states, as well as the new cooperation projects during the next year.
The new British attache said that it was a privilege to hold the position of military attache in Moldova, and the country's army would further opt for an efficient partnership with the National Army.
The Moldovan-British cooperation in the military sector was initiated in 1999.
