Honorary Consulate of Moldova opens in Czech Republic

Chisinau, 21 November /MOLDPRES/ - The official opening of the Honorary Consulate of Moldova took place in the city of Brno in the Czech Republic on 20 November, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

Moldovan Ambassador to the Czech Republic Stefan Gorda, South Moravia Governor Michal Hašek, Brno Mayor Roman Onderka, Presidential Office Head Vratislav Mynář, Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Director Michal Král, honorary consuls of other countries members of the Moldovan Diaspora settled in the Czech Republic, representatives of chambers of commerce and business people attended the event.

Honorary Consul Oldřich Merta advocated boosting bilateral economic cooperation, increasing mutual investment and development of cultural cooperation.
