Candidate withdraws from parliamentary election campaign in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Ravnopravie Socio-Political Movement withdrew from the campaign for the parliamentary elections of 30 November 2014. The Central Election Commission (CEC) took note of the candidate’s request during today’s meeting.
To this effect, the ballot paper's dimensions were modified, being 20 mm shorter. In the race for the parliamentary elections of 30 November, 25 candidates are still on the lists. The Ravnopravie Socio-Political Movement occupied the 19th place in the ballot.
Today is the last day on which candidates can modify the registered lists of candidates for the office of MP or may even request their withdrawal.
