Romanian president-elect to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/- President-elect of Romania Klaus Iohannis will pay a visit to Chisinau on 28 November, following an invitation by President Nicolae Timofti.
The spokesman for the president, Vlad Turcanu, confirmed the information for MOLDPRES. At the same time, new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Bogdan Aurescu is expected in Chisinau on 1 December, the head of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s press service, Ana Taban, said.
“The elections in Moldova due in 30 November represent a historical moment for the society from beyond the Prut River, which is to mark the consolidation of Moldova's irreversible integration into Europe and continuation of the democratic reforms. I intend to pay my first as minister to Chisinau on 1 December,” Bogdan Aurescu said.
