Moldovans residing abroad to be able to vote without beforehand registration

Chisinau, 26 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovans with right to vote residing abroad will be able to cast their ballots at the opened polling stations during the 30 November parliamentary elections, no matter if they were registered or not beforehand. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) made statements to this effect today.
To confirm that they will abstain from multiple voting, the citizens with the right to vote residing abroad will sign a declaration, which is an integral part of the electoral list. At the same time, the electors will be able to vote on the basis of the valid or expired passports.
Ninety five polling stations, the addresses of which may be accessed on the CEC web pages www.cec.md and www.voteaza.md, were set up abroad for the parliamentary elections due on 30 November.
