Today is last day of electoral campaign in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 November /MOLDPRES/- Today is the last day of electoral campaign for the 30 November polls.

The Central Electoral Commission warned the electoral contenders that, under the legislation, the electoral propaganda was strictly prohibited on the election day and the previous one. On these days, it is not allowed to carry out/cover activities/electoral materials, either the candidates are not allowed to appear at TV or radio programmes.

Continuation of campaigning by media, electoral contenders and citizens on the above-mentioned days represents administrative contravention and is sanctioned with a fine from 200 to 400 lei for private people, and from 800 to 1,000 lei for electoral contenders.
