Election silence in Moldova on 29 November

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - Election silence is in Moldova on 29 November, a day before the parliamentary polls from 30 November. Under the Electoral Code, this day and on 30 November, the electoral propaganda is forbidden.
The Central Electoral Commission warns that either the organising/mirroring of electoral activities/materials or contenders participation in TV or radio shows are not allowed on these two days.
The continuation of the electoral propaganda by the media, electoral competitors and citizens represents administrative contravention and private persons risk to be fined from 200 to 400 lei, whereas the contender may be sanctioned with a fine from 800 to 1,000 lei.
