Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Supreme Court of Justice today ruled to maintain in force the decision of the Chisinau Court of Appeal on annulling the registration of the Patria political party as contender.
Thus, the party was excluded from the electoral race. The mention "withdrawn" in the line of this formation will be indicated in the ballot paper.
On 27 November, the Chisinau Court of Appeal decided to cancel the registration of the above-mentioned party as electoral competitor, after examining a notification addressed by the Central Electoral Commission.
The commission’s proposal was forwarded in the context of examining a notification by the General Police Inspectorate, which reveals that the Patria party used foreign financial means during the electoral campaign for the 30 November parliamentary polls.
The first on the party’s list for the MP seats is Renato Usatii.
