Moldovan president votes "for good of people"

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/- President Nicolae Timofti, accompanied by First Lady Margareta Timofti, came to the polling station located in the precincts of the Matei Basarab lyceum to exercise the right to vote.
Timofti said he had voted for "good of our people". "I voted for living better, in peace, in silence and for achieving all nice and good thoughts we have tackled in the election campaign. I am sure that we will succeed if we are united", he noted.
The president had a message for the citizens who have not voted yet or are undecided. "I call all citizens to come to vote, as they decide their fate by their vote", he said. He added he expected that the future parliament should adopt good laws in the interest of our people".
Over 3.2 million citizens with the right to vote are expected at about 2,000 polling stations from the country. The stations were opened at 07:00 and will close at 21:00.
