Moldovan disabled people to benefit from better voting conditions

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/- Disabled people will benefit from better conditions to vote at the parliamentary elections. For the first time ever, the data put out by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on voting process will be presented by an interpreter in sign language.
CEC deputy head Stefan Uritu said that special ballot papers had been elaborated for blind people and voting booths adapted for people with disabilities.
"Also, for the first time ever, the disabled people will have access to data presented by CEC that will be translated into sign language", Uritu said.
Access ramps to polling stations have been built for the above-mentioned people in Causeni and Anenii Noi districts.
