Moldovan Liberal Democratic Party to make coalition with Democratic Party, Liberal Party

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/- The citizens, by their vote, offered European future to Moldova, and now, the primary task of the entire political establishment is to maintain stability in the country and not to allow challenges, which would lead to worsening the situation in society. The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Vlad Filat, made the statement today.
Filat noted that PLDM would make coalition with the Liberal Party and Democratic Party. He added that "it is important that in the next period, the pro-European parties should give a clear answer to society by offering a pro-European majority and a responsible government".
"After 30 November parliamentary elections, we got stronger and held a lesson of maturity. I am sure that the political establishment and civil society better understood the expectations of people and needs of the country to have sustainable development", he noted.
According to the preliminary results put out by the Central Electoral Commission, the PLDM got 19.46 per cent of votes, following the processing of 89 per cent of the reports.
