Moldovan Liberal Democrats, Democrats, Liberals leaders start talks on creating new coalition

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/ - The leader of the Liberal Party (PL), Mihai Ghimpu, today confirmed that he had a phone talk with the leaders of the Liberal Democratic Party and Democratic Party, Vlad Filat and, respectively Marian Lupu, on setting up a new coalition.
Mihai Ghimpu thanked citizens for the vote given especially for PL and, in general, for the pro-European parties. “The citizens’ vote decided again that three parties to sit at the table of negotiations and create an alliance for the European integration. It has come the day when, really, the man will be the government’s priority, and the law will work equally for all citizens. For this time, those who deceived you made conclusions and together we will make so that to create a future for the citizens. Thank you for the lesson you taught me,” Ghimpu said.
According to the preliminary results presented by the Central Electoral Commission, after processing 89 per cent of reports, PL got 9.36 per cent of votes.
