Moldovan electoral body processes 96.67 per cent of reports

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today informed that the Party of Socialists (PSRM) has picked up 20.93 per cent of votes, following the processing of 96.67 per cent of reports.

According to CEC's data, the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) got 19.74 per cent of the ballots, Party of Communists (PCRM) – 17.85 per cent, Democratic Party - 15.94 per cent, and the Liberal Party - 9.45 per cent of votes.

According to the preliminary results, the other contenders did not pass the electoral threshold to get to the parliament.
