Poland to extend cooperation in regional development with Moldova

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/- Poland is interested in extending cooperation in the regional development with Moldova. In this respect, a group of Polish experts pays a visit to Moldova this week.
According to the Regional Development and Construction Ministry's (MDRC) press service, the visit takes place within the project on strengthening public administration capacities in Moldova in preparing and implementing projects meant to contribute to enhancing competitiveness and developing regions' potential."
The Polish experts will have working sessions with MDRC representatives and will unveil a final report on project's implementation, will analyse needs in the regional development for the next years, as well as will give recommendations. Also, the experts will visit a business incubator from northern Soroca city to familiarise with the project's evolution.
The Polish mission will end on 5 December with a meeting to assess the activities carried out in 2014 and with presentation of a draft proposal for 2015 between the Wielikopolskie region from Poland and North Development Region of Moldova.
The above-mentioned project represents a bilateral partnership project between the Polish Regional Development Ministry and the Moldovan MDRC, and is implemented within the assistance programme of the Polish Foreign Ministry of 2014. The project is estimated at about 86,000 euros.
