Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/- The leader of the Party of Communists (PCRM), Vladimir Voronin, today said his party did not intend to make coalition with any party that made it to the parliament, following the 30 November polls.
"We have not yet analysed possibility to create a coalition; yet, assessing our previous practice, I do not believe that this is possible. We cannot join those who have mocked the country during five years. It is difficult to find common language", he said. He added he did not see the point of an alliance with Socialists either, and the PCRM "is ready to switch to the opposition".
The Communist leader pointed out he did not expect "anything good" after elections. Next days, the PCRM's Central Committee will hold a plenary meeting and "a decision will be taken to start preparations for new parliamentary polls." Voronin also said the PCRM would contest several decisions of the Central Electoral Commission at the Constitutional Court.
Voronin said the 30 November parliamentary elections had seemed to be "a referendum on the vector of our country's development".
According to the preliminary results, the PCRM got 17.72 per cent of votes, following the processing of 98.12 per cent of electoral reports.
