Moldovan government approves winter holidays schedule

Chisinau, 3 December /MOLDPRES/- The government today approved a decision on holidays in 2015. Thus, 2 and 9 January will be days off, and 17 and 31 January – working days, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Also, Friday, 28 August 2015, was declared a leisure day, due to be recovered on 22 August.
The second day of Christmas, 26 December, is also a day-off and on 20 December will be instead a working day. The Birth of Jesus Christ according to the Gregorian calendar, marked on 25 December, was declared a day-off in Moldova in 2013, by amending the decision regarding commemorative days, bank holidays and non-working days in Moldova.
Thus, employees of budgetary institutions will enjoy a short vacation between 25 and 28 December.
