Moldovan-Chinese inter-governmental commission to hold meeting in Beijing

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - The seventh meeting of the Moldovan-Chinese inter-governmental economic cooperation commission will be held in the capital of China, Beijing, today. The Moldovan delegation is led by Deputy Economics Minister Octavian Calmic, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The Moldovan delegation is made up of representatives of the Economics, Agriculture and Food Industry, Foreign and European Integration, Transport and Road Infrastructure, Finance Ministries, Railway of Moldova, Tracom Industrial Park.
Sides will sign more documents, including an Agreement between the two governments on economic and technical cooperation for 2015, the protocol of the seventh meeting of the Moldovan-Chinese inter-governmental economic cooperation commission and a Protocol on strengthening collaboration within the Silk Road economic circulation.
The participants in the meeting of the Commission will address the following topics: the joint building of the Silk Road Economic Belt, increasing export of Moldovan wines and other agricultural products to China, diversification of sales markets, promotion of Moldovan-Chinese cooperation in agriculture, economic and technical investment, encouraging Chinese companies to participate in projects related to infrastructure, construction of railways, etc., as well as issues concerning projects of assistance to Moldova.
At the same time, bilateral meetings with representatives of the banking sector will be held, in particular, China Exim Bank, Chinese company AVIC and representatives of Huawei, Sino Hydro and others.
On visit to China, the Moldovan delegation plans to visit the Huawei Exhibition Park and travel to the city of Tianjin, one of the largest functional technology parks, to get acquainted with the way activities are organised in the sector.
The presentation and tasting of Moldovan products and beverages is also envisaged, with the participation of representatives of the Chinese business environment, interested in signing commercial contracts with Moldovan economic agents.
