Moldovan foreign minister attends OSCE Ministerial Council

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign and European Integration Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Gherman leads an official delegation of Moldova to the 21st Meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), held in Basel, Switzerland, on 4-5 December, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The participants in the annual meeting of the foreign ministers of the OSCE member states, will pay special attention to ways of solving the crisis in Ukraine, OSCE’s role in this process and strengthening European security.
Natalia Gherman will talk about Moldova’s visions on the aforementioned problems and will present the country’s position on the Transnistrian conflict settlement. Also, more bilateral meetings with heads of participating delegations are envisaged. On the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council, a ministerial meeting of GUAM Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development member states will also take place under Moldovan presidency.
