Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - A regulation on the creation and work of one stop shop for issuing export/re-export phyto-sanitary certificates was published in the Official Paper (Monitorul Oficial) today.
The new regulation removes the economic agents’ obligation to present four out of seven documents previously requested. The economic agent will also have to pay only two visits to the local offices of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA), instead of five.
Thus, the obligation to present the document on the phyto-sanitary inspection and certificate of quarantine expertise of plants and products of plant origin was excluded. The need to repeatedly present the invoice and the sales and purchase (export) agreement was removed too. The invoice and the agreement are presented one time at any ANSA subdivision.
Under the document, the phyto-sanitary certificate will be issued in up to five days, if the entire file is presented. After the regulation's enforcement, the costs for getting the phyto-sanitary certificate for export, met by economic agents, are estimated to be cut and the waiting time - to be shortened.
