Warm weather forecast in Moldova for next seven days

Chisinau, 9 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal air temperature of +7 Celsius degrees during the day for 10 – 16 December.

Light rain is expected in some areas. Sleet is forecast in northern Moldova. The roads will be covered with glazed frost.

No essential precipitation is forecast for the second part of the period. Low fog is expected and the wind will blow from south-east.

The night-time air temperature will oscillate between -5 +1 degrees on 10-13 December, and around 0 degrees on 14-16 December.

During the day, the air temperature will fluctuate between -1 +4 degrees on 10-12 December, and between +1 + 7 degrees on 13-16 December.

According to the State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2013/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +16.1 degrees Celsius on 10 December 1960 and the lowest -14.6 degrees Celsius on 10 December 2002.
