Tunisia abolishes visa regime for Moldovans

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) informs that, starting from 1 December 2014, the Moldovan citizens, holders of ordinary and bio-metric passports, are exempted from the compulsoriness to hold an entry, transit and temporary stay visa for Tunisia, for a period of up to 90 days during 6 months/180 days from the date of the first entry into the country. The Tunisian government adopted a decision to this effect on 28 November 2014, the MAEIE’s information and media communication service has reported.
The requirements as to the trip and validity of travel documents are similar to those for the European states.
