Israel abolishes visa regime for Moldovans

Chisinau, 11 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) informs that, starting from 15 December 2014, the Moldovan citizens holding bio-metric passports will be able to travel free visa to Israel for a period of up to 90 days during 6 months/180 days from the date of the first entry into the country, the MAEIE information and media communication service has reported.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially informed the Moldovan Foreign and European Integration Ministry on the matter.
In the same notification, the Israeli Foreign Ministry highlights that the State of Israel reserves the right not to allow undesirable persons entering the country or to shorten their stay in Israel.
In this context, MAEIE recommend that the Moldovans intending to travel to Israel be able to prove, upon the Israeli border police’s request, confirmation of accommodation (hotel/stay at Israeli citizens) and return plane ticket to Moldova.
