Moldovan PM to pay official visit to Brussels

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - Incumbent Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will leave for Brussels on 17 December, to meet more European officials, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Late on 17 December, Leanca will meet European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmstrom.
On 18 December, Iurie Leanca will have separate meetings with EU Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, High Representative of European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, as well as European Commissioner for the Euro and Social Dialogue Valdis Dombrovskis.
Iurie Leanca will also meet new President of the European Council, former Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The officials will address domestic reforms, especially completing the justice reform, optimising the fight against corruption, ensuring a sustainable economic growth and decentralisation reform.
Subsequently, the prime minister will participate in the Summit of the European People’s Party. Iurie Leanca will also meet Vice President of the Commission for the Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič.
